You can still sell your property even if it is not yet registered on your name on the title deed of the said property, but you must make sure that either you or your solicitor are in possession of a valid power of attorney from the vendor or the developer who sold you the said property. At present when selling a property in the island, you have the right once in life not to pay capital gains tax on the building up to ½ donum of land for one property . If the building is sitting on more than one donum of land, you have to pay the said tax on the remaining land above the first ½ donum.
